Event director Anna Marie Trzebinski is fulfilling a lifelong ambition by launching her own agency, AMTEvents.
The launch comes months after Trzebinski was let go at the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis.
“I think some people would say I’m mad to begin my agency now,” said Trzebinski.
“But I have an overwhelming abundance of positivity. It’s the right thing to do, there’s a lot of opportunity out there.
“I’ve always had a huge ambition to run my own agency. But the risk of voluntarily giving up a salary with bills to pay was the hard thing to do. So, with being made redundant, the decision was taken out of my hands.
“Deciding to start the business has made me a source of energy – the days aren’t long enough at the moment.
I’m on overdrive!”
AMTEvents specialises in corporate events and offers a luxury private event service. The virtual launch takes place on Thursday 18 June at 4pm – with everyone invited.

Trzebinski set up a LinkedIn group in March, UK Event Professionals Redundancy due to Corona, to bring fellow event professionals in a similar position together.
“When I was let go it became clear that there weren’t jobs out there and being due to give birth in September, I wasn’t going to be the employer’s dream,” she said.
